An ecosystem is the place where organisms and their physical surroundings form a balanced environment that is different from others nearby. Natural ecosystems can exist on their own. Humans can create artificial ecosystems such as the aquarium. These ecosystems are usually not balance. They need to be managed by adding food materials and remove wastes.
